Denmark's official replica jersey for the 1986 World Cup.

Danish jersey designer Hummel had a unique idea for many years and in February 1986 unveiled his masterpiece at the World Cup jersey presentation in Copenhagen.
On the pitch, Denmark presented the world with one of the most iconic jerseys in football history.

The design of the away jersey is inspired by the colors of the Danish flag and features red and white vertical stripes.
For many, the best jersey design of all time. It is an icon of the 80s and of a happy football that dazzled everyone.

The 1986 FIFA World Cup Mexico was the thirteenth edition of the Soccer World Cup, which took place between May 31 and June 29.
Mexico became the first country to hold a World Cup twice.

There were 24 teams that attended the tournament and 52 matches were held, the same as in the previous World Cup. The mascot was Pique and the official ball was the Adidas Azteca México,
the first made with synthetic materials, which increased waterproofing and durability, providing better performance on hard playing fields, with high humidity and at high altitudes.

Half the world fell in love with the happy attacking football that the Danes played, with Michael Laudrup, Morten Olsen, Preben Elkjaer or Allan Simonsen. In the first phase they defeated Scotland, Uruguay and the FRG,
exhibiting an overwhelming game. But in the round of 16, in Querétaro, they met Spain and a Butragueño at his best. They ended their World Cup with a 5-1 loss.
On this occasion, the winner of the World Cup was Argentina, which, playing against Germany at the Azteca Stadium, left a score of 3-1, giving the fans their second world victory.
